Ordering COVID-19 Vaccine in Smaller Increments
Providers can now order COVID-19 vaccines in smaller increments. Providers should continue to place their orders in the Massachusetts Immunization Information System (MIIS) as usual. The Vaccine Unit will work with another site to transfer the doses instead of having that order fulfilled from the manufacturer/distributor. Only order doses that you will use within 30 days. Due to this change, it may take up to 2 to 3 business day before you get confirmation from the Vaccine Unit that the order is being fulfilled. If you have any questions about your order, contact DPH-Vaccine-Management@massmail.state.ma.us. Please note the new minimum order quantities:
Our COVID-19 vaccination status report is live
We've created a new report to help PCPs identify their patients that have not yet been vaccinated. This report contains all commercial HMO members on your panel who are partially vaccinated or unvaccinated, and is now available on our provider portal.
You can find the report under the "Reports" tab after logging in to your provider portal account.
